VISA \GO WHERE EFTPOS CAN’T
Visa New Zealand was the first credit card company to launch a debit card in New Zealand. Visa Debit allows people to spend cash from their own bank account, wherever Visa is accepted: online, overseas or over the phone.
“go where eftpos can’t” was a campaign designed to highlight that Visa Debit cards can be used to make purchases online. As the campaign was running in the lead up to Christmas, our challenge was to create a campaign that drove card usage online.
OUR SOLUTION
We created a digital campaign that made Christmas shopping easy.
By creating a ‘present finder’, inside online display ads, we created an engaging tool that made it simple for people to shop online for Christmas presents. The present finder had three simple steps for users to select a gift based on age, sex and interests.
RESULTS
We achieved click through rates three times the industry average, with over 80% of users completing the simple three-stage process to find Christmas presents for their friends and family. The tool was so successful that 14% of users repeated the process to find more presents.
