THE BRIEF:
Nissan New Zealand tasked TBWA\TEQUILA with launching the brand onto Facebook with a minimal budget to communicate to both Nissan’s loyal supporters and brand ambassadors.
THE SOLUTION:
In order to exceed the threshold number of fans to justify Facebook as a commercially viable communications channel going forward, we created a brand page and content calendar that inspired fans and generated organic growth through interaction.
We also added in a competition element and used CPC on platform advertising to drive new fan acquisition from the target market.
At TEQUILA\, we believe that social media needs to live in-house, so rather than creating a dependency on the agency, we empowered Nissan to take over ownership of the channel during the three-month programme of work.
THE RESULTS:
Not only did TEQUILA\ exceed the target number of fans (over 4,000 fans in less than 100 days), but we also delivered a strategy, target CPA (fan), content calendar and client training for continued growth of this exciting communications channel.
