CHALLENGE
Through a total revamp of the logo and look, make Classic Hits the number one music station among 25 – 44 year olds.
SOLUTION
There were two elements to the solution;
1. New logo
The main design element used across the new work is an LED display device. LEDs are a modern icon that appear everywhere from car stereos to iPods. When music is played the LED display comes alive, moving to the sound. It’s a visual representation of the joy of music that Classic Hits playlist represents.
2. New look
The artist print work, where images of current popular artists are used (Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Gin Wigmore etc.), demonstrates the current music that is very much a part of the Classic Hits lineup.
RESULTS
Latest survey results saw a lift in audience numbers and we are hoping that the Feb/March 2012 survey will see a further improvement… watch this space.
